Att återupptäcka en låt är väl en sak, men att bli helt besatt av den (som jag inte var när det begav sig) är mycket ovanligt för mig.

Upprinnelsen till det hela är att jag igår kväll kom och tänka på Cher och att det var länge sedan jag lyssnade på henne.

Hon har gjort en hel del bra dängor genom åren så jag satte genast ihop en lista med de låtar jag gillar bäst med henne och då kom denna pärla ”I Walk Alone” från 2013 i min väg och jag blev helt fast i den.

Vilken sång, vilken styrka och vilken energi! Älskar blandningen av country-pop, akustiska instrument (banjon i början är ju helt underbar!), med tunga elektroniska EDM-beats och modern dance-pop.

Helt tagen av den! Hon sjunger med en sådan inlevelse! Inte minns jag att den var SÅ bra!

Tyvärr hittar jag inget liveframträdande där hon sjunger låten och på hennes egen YouTube-kanal finns det endast uppspelning av låten.

Låten finns med på albumet ”Closer to the Truth” som släpptes i september 2013, alltså för 13 år sedan! Den är skriven av den kända popstjärnan Pink tillsammans med Billy Mann samt den svenska producentduon MachoPsycho (Niklas Olovson och Robin Lynch).
